Our bliss

After the propose is of course the preparation.
Researches after researches of flat purchase, bridal studio, banquet venues etc.
Of course we have to pass the many obstacles in order to carry on with the preparation.
Guess what? Both of us are not pro-banquet infact we really do hope for just ROM and buffet reception for friends thats all.

We had actually signed up for a package at Everbliss and gave a deposit for it, however after many researches and feedbacks. It seems like they are not a good choice at all~ We are also rather put off with the way they forces us to pay the deposit like they will go bankrupt without it. We decided to forfeit the deposit and look for another studio. This is to prevent us regretting in the future. So u pple out there who are looking for bridal studio~ dun rush to it. Remember to compare prices before going into it~! So now we are shopping around for bridal studio. Have went to "双喜'and found it to be not bad. Reasonable pricing~friendly staff but we haven gone for it yet. Maybe going to Johor to take a look.

But of course like many pple said, a marriage is not 2 pples' affair but 2 families' affair.

His mum would like us to have a banquet with traditional customary "敬茶" and since he is the eldest and only son in the family, I do understand why she requested that and due to the exchange rates of ringgit, having a banquet in KL won't cost our lives. That settles it.

The other side is of course my parents. Whom also requested that we have a banquet. However, after many researches etc. Thats like virtually impossible for us being a young couple. We do not have much budget set aside for 2 banquets, bridal studio and a flat and since we decided to get resale flats its like an even heavier burden on us. After much discussion with my hus to be~ We decided to persuade my mum to go to Kl for the banquet and of course my relatives there too. Poolside buffet will be for friends in Singapore. At least both our parents and our wishes are fulfiled and of course a lesser financial burden.
