Finally spoken to my parents about our marriage and luckily like haoren's parents, they also felt that we should settle the house first and thanks to my mum's selective memory~ she claims she never said she wan banquet!~ Oh well~ it doesn't matter as long as she is willing... She din seem to like the idea that we are looking for a flat in Bukit batok/gombak ... she seems to think that these places are too far from Jurong.. Well.. its not that we din want to live in Jurong I just dun like the many Bangla quarters here since they will always drink and fight at the void deck, urinate in the lift and etc.... We do have a problem with buying house though cos of the cash payment that we have to make...

We have to postpone our marriage to Oct 07 due to budget prob .. I do hope to have a poolside party or beach party if its a buffet but Oct seems like a bad month to have outdoors. Since now we have taken a liking to Orchid Country Club which serves a decent menu will good package at the poolside and the price is affordable. We haven seen the pool yet though and the only grievance for now is the max quota of 100pax. Will keep sourcing though ... since the date is still far and not in the peak period for weddings. Haoren's parents will be coming next week... wonder whether there will be any new developments. Will keep u guys updated!~
